Outside of my academic pursuits, I enjoy cooking; weightlifting; playing games; and solving crossword puzzles, puzzles that twist, and puzzles about wearing hats (note: the solution buttons may not function properly in all pdf readers).
A brief tutorial to solve the Cube. This is a slight variation on one of the more common beginner methods, but replaces one of the basic inserts so as to require learning one fewer algorithm. This comes with the downside that it likely induces another competing standard.
